Skovshoved Petrol Station
Originally built as a prototype for Texaco in 1936, Skovshoved petrol station is now a class A listed historical monument and has been restored over the years since it was first opened in 1936. It was designed by Arne Jacobsen and is an example of the functionalist style of the time. The exterior of the building is dominated by the projecting oval canopy, known as the mushroom. It offers shade and shelter for filling motorists but, illuminated from beneath, also doubles as a sign at night. This image won a 2020 Photography Award from the American Institute of Architects.

Contiguous US - We offer free standard shipping on unframed artwork and books for contiguous orders.
Shipping International - We ship internationally. Rates depend on location and size of art.
Expedited Shipping - Expedited shipping is not available, but most orders will be delivered within 10-15 days. .
