About the Artist
Whenever he travels, photographer Jonathan Ducrest takes three passports (Swiss, French, and American) and four cameras: Sony A7R5, Leica M 240 Monochrome, Leica Q2, and a DJI Mavic 3 drone.
From mid-century architectural gems to silent snowy mountain ranges and twenty-first-century transit terminals to abandoned gas stations waiting for people who will never return, Ducrest captures the timeless beauty surrounding us, transporting the viewer into another time and place.

Ducrest’s work has won three AIA/Architectural Photography Awards and was selected by the Royal Academy of Arts for its 2022 Summer Exhibition (London). Saatchi Art included him in its prestigious “21 Artists to Collect,” his work is in the collections of Apple, Disney-ABC, Netflix, and Warner Media. He was named Architecture Photographer of the Year by reFocus Awards for his series on La Muralla Roja in 2023.
